Barbara Marion Ajello

Barbara Marion Ajello died from brain cancer on May 4, 2013, surrounded by family and friends at her home in Fallbrook. Barbara was born on Dec. 9, 1939, in Boston, Mass. to Barnett and Eileen (Wall) Goldman. She grew up in Dallas, Texas and Arcadia, Calif. and graduated from UCLA in 1962 with a BA in Spanish and a master’s degree in education.

She met her husband of 47 years, Joseph M. Ajello, at a dance in 1965. They were married in North Hollywood in 1966. Their son, Michael, was born in 1971. They moved to Fallbrook in 2004, after living in Arcadia for 32 years. She and Joe enjoyed travell...
