Single vehicle accident occurs at Gird and Reche Rd.

FALLBROOK - Traffic was backed up at Reche Rd. west of Gird as a the result of a single vehicle accident at 6:45 pm in the intersection of Gird Rd. and Reche.

For unknown reasons, a car ran into the concrete wall in front of Live Oak Park. The wall serves as a guardrail, keeping pedestrians and cars from entering the stream that runs the span of the park and southward under the street and then further down Gird toward 79S. A tow truck towed the car which was blocking the intersection.

Injuries are unknown at this time.
