La Paloma team earns ribbons at science field day

FALLBROOK – La Paloma Elementary School participated in the annual San Diego County Science Field Day in Lakeside on May 11. The all-day event brings together fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students from 65 San Diego County schools to compete in 14 events.

La Paloma’s team was awarded ribbons for the following competitions: first place – Paddle Boats, second place – Simple Machines, fourth place – Anatomy, and fifth place – Structures, Bugs, Circuits, and Catapult.
