I know everyone has heard of “Nectar of the Gods.” Well, I believe it must come from home-grown strawberries. My son’s berries are the sweetest I have ever tasted. They’re growing in compost soil and are watered every few days – no fertilizer of any kind. They put store-bought berries to shame. The carrots and beets are almost ready to pick. We had the last cauliflower this week. Now we’re waiting for the corn and zucchini seeds to make their presence known.
