Girls swim 8th at CIF

Fallbrook High School’s girls swim team placed eighth among Division I schools at the CIF meet.

“Went well,” said Fallbrook coach Sean Redmond.

The Warriors had placed ninth in 2012. “I was hoping to equal or do better than what we did last year, which we did,” Redmond said. “We ended up moving up.”

The CIF meet consisted of swim preliminaries May 16 at Granite Hills High School, diving May 17 at Mesa College, and the swim finals May 18 at Granite Hills.
