Students engage seniors in friendly competition

FALLBROOK – Students at St. Peters the Apostle Catholic School welcomed senior citizens from the Fallbrook Skilled Nursing Facility recently to participate in “St. Peter is Our Patron Field Day,” an annual tradition at the school.

Each team was assigned a color, and visited different game stations to learn about St. Peter and engage in some friendly competition.

The seniors got a chance to bowl, while games for the students included tug-a-war, obstacle courses, jump roping, balloon toss, musical chairs, and sack races.
