Krumwiede - a golf pro and concerned citizen

With a passion for the sport of golf as well as standing up for his community, Barry Krumwiede Sr. has structured his life around both of these callings.

Krumwiede prefers to think of himself as a teacher, rather than a coach, who emphasizes managing methods such as swing technique and simple approaches to fine-tuning one’s golf game. He also said accuracy is more important than distance.

Early on, Krumwiede caddied for golf legend Sam Snead and, soon after, took up playing the game and went on to win his first tournament at age 15.
