FALLBROOK – Fallbrook Library’s initial “Living Stronger-Longer” symposium is scheduled for July 15 from 1 to 3 p.m., in the community room. It is designed to answer questions related to concerns of the senior populace, their caretakers, and significant others.
The first session provides explanation to questions: When to consider assisted living? Nursing homes compared to retirement venues. Guilt related to suggesting assisted living to a parent. What are the benefits from the Veterans Administration for vets and their spouses in assisted living? These topics and many more associated with aging, will be discussed by several knowledgeable persons in the geriatric field.
The “Living Stronger-Longer” symposiums in the future will include such topics as, “Reinventing Yourself,” “A Member of the Atomic Bomb Squadron” and “Nutrition, Before Medication.” All the programs are designed for interactive participation with the audience. There is no cost and speakers will not seek commercial enhancement for their appearance.
