Alice "Ping" Matthews

It is with great sadness that the family of Alice “Ping” Matthews announces her passing on July 19, 2013 at the age of 84. Born Nov. 17, 1928, Ping passed peacefully at home in Edmonton of COPD complications.

Left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory is her loving companion and best friend, Bill Wedderburn. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sister Anna Thirde; son Grant Matthews, son Randy Matthews and family (daughter-in-law Nancy, and grandsons Ryan and Ian Matthews). Ping was predeceased by her previous husband, Jack Matthews.
