Caltrans opens Ortega Highway tonight; commuters advised traffic will be affected until all road repairs are complete

The California Highway Patrol has announced that Caltrans opened Ortega Highway at 6 p.m. this evening (Mon., Aug. 12) to all traffic until 8 a.m. tomorrow morning.

At that time, one-way traffic control will be in affect between the daytime hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. while repairs continue to be made to the roadway.

Motorists are advised to add time to their commute schedule during these hours due to delays.

The road will open (unrestricted) between the hours of 4 p.m. and 8 a.m....
