Fallbrook cribbage team cruises to second straight victory

FALLBROOK – On July 25, the Fallbrook Senior Center cribbage team won its second straight match.

Fallbrook won 71 games out of 119 played with 9 out of 10 of the top players from the Fallbrook team.

Luella Brotherton won first place with six wins with a skunk. Second place went to tournament director Obie Weeks with six wins and no skunks. Rounding out the top five were Lee Rutledge, Bill McGinness, and Beth Fleischer.

The next match in the Senior Challenge Cribbage series is set for 12:15 p.m. on Aug. 22 at the Vista Elks Lodge, 1947 E. Vista Way. Lunch begins at 11 a.m. Call (760) 695-2977 or email [email protected].
