Burned DHS Body Found in 2009 Identified

DESERT HOT SPRINGS - The charred body of a man found near Desert Hot Springs four years ago was identified as that man reported missing in Nevada City, Calif.

Isaiah Marsh's body was found June 12, 2009, near Long Canyon Road and Hacienda Avenue, according to Riverside County sheriff's deputies. He was believed to be 30 years old.

His body was set on fire, but coroner's investigators were unable to pin down a cause of death. Marsh's family reported him missing April 2009, according to the sheriff's department, which labeled the case ''suspicious.''
