Planning Commission approves wireless facility on Morro Reservoir land

The county’s Planning Commission approved a wireless telecommunications facility on the Morro Reservoir property.

The Planning Commission’s 6-0 vote Aug. 16, with John Riess absent, allows AT&T Mobility to construct a 50 foot tall false broadleaf tree with mounted antennas while also allowing for an equipment enclosure on the property. The Planning Commission granted both a Major Use Permit and an exemption to the 35-foot height limit.
