Regarding ‘Miss Fallbrook 2014,’ I am pleased to see that the Soroptimists will be considering the accomplishments of contestants instead of judging by how they look in outfits.
I would like to go a step further and propose the idea of having a Ms. Fallbrook contest and seek out the many women of all ages who live in Fallbrook and have accomplished so much in their lives and/or contributed their service to our community. They could share a title with the young women and serve as inspiration for them.
There are so many beautiful accomplished women in this community who deserve recognition!
While I’m writing for consideration, why isn’t there a Mr. Fallbrook contest?
I am now going into hiding to avoid those rotten tomatoes that may be hurled at me for strange and novel ideas.
