Businesses, groups, individuals encouraged to build scarecrows

FALLBROOK – Businesses, groups, clubs, and individuals are encouraged to build a scarecrow for the upcoming Fallbrook Scarecrow Days in October. The plans are off to a great start for the second year!

Beginning Friday, Sept. 6, a display will be on view at Fallbrook Library to help residents with ideas for beginning their scarecrow project.

Put together by a group of residents hoping to put Fallbrook “on the map” for tourism, the effort led to the display of over 100 scarecrows in Fallbrook during the event period last year.
