Mr. Campbell is annoyed by the noise made by the helicopters that fly to and from Camp Pendleton throughout the day and late at night. Mr. Campbell seems to have more than a passing knowledge about the Base and I’m sure that the commander of the base is rigorously studying the details of Mr. Campbell’s suggestions on military logistics and warfare training and discussing their merits with his officers.

Not only do helicopters fly over, but munitions are exploded that rattle our windows, shake the ground, and startle our animals and neighbors.
