Fallbrook VFW Post 1924 collects used shoes

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook VFW Ladies Auxiliary is asking the public to donate used shoes to support their yearly cancer project. They are looking for shoes in any condition and they can be men’s, women’s, or children’s shoes.

They have a bin located in their post at 1175 Old Stage and shoes can be dropped off seven days a week from noon to 7 p.m. until Sept. 19. They are asking residents to clean out their closets and help them raise funds to find a cure.
