Junior Pee-Wee team tops Vista in season opener

FALLBROOK – Fallbrook’s Pop Warner Junior Pee-Wee football team started off the season with success on Aug. 31, taking on the Vista Longhorns at Warrior Stadium, located at Fallbrook High School.

In the 90+ degree heat, the 9-, 10- and 11-year old Warriors struck first with the offensive line opening a hole for a short yardage run up the middle to put six points on the board for Fallbrook. Vista answered back in the second quarter by breaking several tackles and running the ball in to score.
