Thomas earns bronze medal in diving

FALLBROOK – Eva Thomas, 7, of Fallbrook, a member of the Fallbrook Associated Swim and Dive Team (FAST) earned a bronze medal in the AAU 1-meter national diving competition held at the La Mirada Aquatics Center Aug. 23 through 25.

Thomas competed in the age 9 and under category. She earned high scores on the one-and-a-half somersault and inward dive, high degree of difficulty dives, helping her win the bronze. She finished only a few points from the gold.
