Math workshop helps parents, teachers

FALLBROOK – Common Core Mathematics was the focal point for parents and teachers as they gathered for a monthly Parent Education Workshop at Fallbrook Homeschool Academy.

Monthly workshops provide a bridge for families who choose the alternative of teaching at home combined with a three day per week at-school program.

Teachers instruct parents in topics that include: how to teach writing, individual learning styles, reading comprehension, and the new Common Core nationwide math standards.
