Robert K. Koga, 83, died peacefully at his home in Fallbrook, Calif. when he lost his struggle with mesothelioma on September 8.
After serving with the U. S. Air Force and the Los Angeles Police Department, Robert developed a revolutionary aikido–based police officer training system that has been taught across the U. S. as well as in Canada, Mexico, Japan, and China.
Robert is remembered by family, friends, and a far-ranging community of peace officers as a man dedicated to the highest standards of personal and professional conduct.
