Streak of Rising Inland Empire Gasoline Prices Ends

RIVERSIDE - A streak of 10 consecutive increases to the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire ended today with a decrease of seven-tenths of a cent to $4.006.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties increased 19.2 cents over a 20-day stretch, including two-tenths of a cent on Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 6.4 cents more than one week ago and 13.9 cents higher than one month ago, but 11.2 cents less than one year ago....
