Painkiller, a Judas Priest tribute band, makes Infinity debut

The Judas Priest tribute band Painkiller was formed about 15 years ago, although due to periods of inactivity the band has been playing for about a dozen years cumulatively. Painkiller returned last year, and on Sept. 21 of this year the band’s first San Diego County performance in its current incarnation took place at Pala Casino’s Infinity nightclub.

The performance was also Painkiller’s first ever at Infinity. “It’s definitely a pleasure,” said lead singer Michael Wozniak.

“We love playing here,” Wozniak said. “We can’t wait to come back.”
