FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club hosted its fourth annual picnic for members and their families on Sept. 14 at Live Oak Park. The bright, sunny afternoon provided just the right weather for the old-fashioned picnic.
The annual picnic gives members and their families an opportunity to socialize and get better acquainted in a relaxed atmosphere, especially with the many new members that have joined the club recently.
About 100 people attended and enjoyed listening to the background music, sitting in the shade talking, playing mind-bending games, and participating in old-time fun including a water balloon tossing contest.
In the afternoon, the barbecues were fired up and hot dogs and hamburgers provided by the club sizzled on the grills. Club members brought delicious pot luck side dishes to help provide a wonderful feast for everyone.
The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club is an organization dedicated to making charitable donations to local non-profit groups and organizations in need of financial support. For more information, visit http://www.fallbrookvintagecarclub.org.
