Fallbrook varsity tennis takes league opener

FALLBROOK – Last season the girls tennis team defeated rival Vista in both their meetings. With the season opening with an away match at Vista, they wanted to keep that winning streak alive. They were not disappointed with an 11-7 win.

Senior Skyler Schaar dominated in all three of her matches, 6-0, 6-1 and 6-0. Junior Rebecca Dupont won her first set in a tiebreaker, and then cruised in her final two matches, 6-0 and 6-3, giving the team six points from the singles side.
