FALLBROOK – Fallbrook Pop Warner’s Junior Pee Wee team took on the Escondido Timberwolves for their first away game of the season on Sept. 21. A tenacious Escondido team immediately put pressure on the Warriors with a breakaway run and touchdown within five game minutes.
After their extra point, defensive coordinator Shawn Brown tightened up his defense which did not allow any further points. In the second quarter, the Warrior defense made an amazing goal line stand forcing Escondido to turn the ball over on downs after repeated attempts to score.
