Roque ninth, Hernandez and Larson 14th at Laguna Hills meet

Fifteen Fallbrook High School boys participated in the 30th annual Laguna Hills Cross-Country Invitational meet Sept. 15, including three who finished among the top 15 in their races.

Elijah Roque was ninth among the 166 boys in the junior race; Rene Hernandez placed 14th among the senior race’s 127 participants, and Chris Larson began his high school cross-country career as the 14th finisher in the 235-runner freshman race. The meet was the first for the Warriors this year.
