Rib-eye dinner Oct. 4 to help vets

FALLBROOK – VFW Post 1924 is offering cooked-to-order rib-eye steaks hot off the grill at their Friday night fundraising dinner, Oct. 4 at 6 p.m.

The meal also includes baked potatoes, ranch style beans and the best salad one will ever eat with caramelized walnuts, apples, and more. Ice cream and homemade cookies will be served for dessert. Suggested donation is $12 per person. Proceeds help support local veterans. The VFW is located at 1175 Old Stage Rd.
