FALLBROOK – On Feb. 22, 2014, friends of the Fallbrook Pregnancy Resource Center will be treated to a gala banquet and an exciting speaker, Kirk Walden.
Miriam Vanderlaan, board president, said the annual fundraiser will be held at Zion Lutheran Church Fellowship Center. An extravagant tri-tip dinner will be provided by the Knights of Columbus. The evening will be filled with humor, challenge, vision and hope. Kirk Walden is a much in demand speaker all over the country.
Walden’s journey to pregnancy resource ministry leads through life as a sports writer, professional golfer, and even nine years as a single dad. In addition, Walden is a former pregnancy resource center director who founded LifeTrends, a company assisting life-affirming ministries across America and now the world.
Walden is also a writer whose perspective and devotionals have appeared in publications across the nation and on the web site of Focus on the Family. To pregnancy resource ministries, he is a consultant, confidant and friend. To audiences across America, he is a humorist whose real-life stories motivate and envision.
All who come to hear Walden should leave the challenges of the day behind and get ready to laugh with a speaker with whom everyone can identify.
Free tickets will be available from the Fallbrook Pregnancy Resource Center at (760) 728-4105.
