County accepts law enforcement grants for Fallbrook substation ballistic shield and tactical backpack kit

The County of San Diego’s acceptance of grants for the Sheriff’s Department included one from the San Diego County Law Enforcement Foundation which will allow the county to purchase a ballistic shield and a tactical backpack kit for the Fallbrook substation.

A 5-0 San Diego County Board of Supervisors vote Oct. 8 accepted the $7,878 from the San Diego County Law Enforcement Foundation while also establishing appropriations of the money.
