Marlon Akins of All Green Recycling presents a check for $4,165 to Troop 739 Scout Master Ken Kooyman, senior patrol leader Sam Riedeman, assistant patrol leader Elijah Zepeda, and committee chair Paul Leehey for their fundraising efforts last November. Troop 739 will be hosting the ewaste event again on Nov. 9 in Fallbrook and Nov. 11 in San Diego.
FALLBROOK – Fallbrook area residents can take an opportunity to recycle e-waste and have documents shredded to benefit local Boy Scout Troop 739.
While the main event will take place on Monday, Nov. 11, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Fry’s Electronics in San Diego (9825 Stonecrest Boulevard, San Diego, 92123), Fallbrook area residents can drop off items locally on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 1405 E. Fallbrook Street.
