Daughters of Norway to learn about Sweden

RAINBOW – The next meeting of Daughters of Norway Hulda Garborg Lodge #49, on Saturday, Nov. 9, will feature local writer Nathalie Taylor who will present a program on Sweden, its sights, customs, and food. Taylor has made several trips to Sweden to visit relatives and has written about her travels.

All women of Scandinavian heritage are welcome to attend the Daughters of Norway meetings at the Rainbow Valley Grange Hall, 2160 Rainbow Valley Blvd. Following the cultural program is a potluck lunch at noon and a business meeting at 12:45 p.m.
