Turkey Trot to benefit two local organizations

FALLBROOK – The 2013 Fallbrook Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot will take place on Thursday, Nov. 28. Check in starts at 8 a.m. and the trot begins at 8:20 a.m. All are invited to take part in an almost 5k stroll, walk or run through the Los Jilgueros Preserve. The starting and ending location is Grand Tradition Estate and Gardens, 220 Grand Tradition Way. All levels are welcome.

Participants can register for the event on http://www.active.com. The cost of $25 includes a t-shirt. Event proceeds and donations go to Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary and Fallbrook Land Conservancy. Additional donations can be made at https://fundraising.active.com/event/2013FallbrookTurkeyTrot.
