Veterans Day Parade on Nov. 11

FALLBROOK – Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 1924 will be holding its annual Veterans Day Parade on Monday, Nov. 11, starting at 10 a.m. The parade will proceed along Main Ave., starting at Fallbrook Street and proceeding north to Alvarado Street.

Serving as Grand Marshall will be Andrew Genninger, who served in the Marine Corps in both World War II and Korea.

Following the parade, there will be a short ceremony in the Village Square, where the guest speaker will be longtime Fallbrook resident (SSgt) Vern Rowley, who served in the Army Air Corps in WWII. Rowley was stationed on Tinian...
