Three North County medical facilities – Fallbrook Hospital, Palomar Health Downtown Campus, and Tri-City Medical Center – were fined this summer in addition to seven others throughout the state by the California Dept. of Public Health (CDPH). The penalties were levied for instances that caused or could have caused serious injury or death to patients.
