Marines and sailors help elderly residents in Fallbrook

FALLBROOK – When the Foundation for Senior Care was contacted recently by CDR David D. Schilling, CHC, USN with the I MEF Headquarters Group on Camp Pendleton, with an offer of volunteer help for elderly residents of Fallbrook, executive director Dotty Metcalf accepted. Schilling told Metcalf his group could provide help seniors may need with yard work, clearing brush, cleaning up, and general handiwork around the house. His goal was to get the men off base in order to help others.
