Beulah Lilly died peacefully on Sunday morning, November 3, 2013. Beulah was a resident of Vista, Calif. until she moved in with her niece, Linda Hower, and Linda’s husband Paul in Fallbrook. Paul built her a casita so that she could maintain her privacy.
She was born Beulah D. Brewer in Pollard, Ky. on February 16, 1913. She was 100 years old when she died, and very proud of the fact that she had made it that far! She married E.J. (Buster) Lilly in 1933. In Kentucky, she learned to fly small aircraft and then joined the Civil Air Patrol. She taught other women to fly and to learn Morse code....
