Luallin retires from the Fallbrook Food Pantry

At 82 years old, Don Luallin has retired for the second time in his life. The well-known, friendly face of the Fallbrook Food Pantry has served the worthy establishment for 18 years, 12 as its executive director. His “official” last day was Oct. 25.

“I’ve had two major heart surgeries and my wife is in long-term (hospice) care; my doctor recommended that I take it a little easier,” said Luallin, who previously retired from a 30-year career as business manager of a Chevrolet dealership.
