Aberle takes Phantom to Mojave Experimental Fly-In

Tom Aberle’s plane Phantom flies primarily in the National Championship Air Races in Reno, but in April he displayed Phantom at a static air show in Mojave.

Aberle displayed Phantom during the April 20 Mojave Experimental Fly-In at Mojave Airport. “It was a relatively short event,” Aberle said.

Mojave Airport has no airline or commuter service and is used for private aviation. “Mojave is a very interesting place because of a number of things that have gone on there,” Aberle said.
