Apparently, based upon some of the responses, there are those that missed the point of my writing regarding helicopter traffic in the area.

I am first and foremost looking for an answer as to why it is necessary to fly over civilian areas when they have an enormous area in which to practice.

I stated in my piece that traffic from 29 Palms to the base was understandable, but practice flights over Fallbrook are unnecessary when considering the vast amount of unpopulated airspace over Pendleton.
