AAUW to hold Red Sock Event

FALLBROOK – Members of the Fallbrook Branch of the American Association of University Women are stuffing little stockings in preparation of their fundraising party, A Red Sock Event on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 6:30 p.m.

The purpose of the event is to raise money for educational foundations and legal advocacy funds which assist women and girls with select educational studies and to help those with legal battles involving equity in the workplace.

AAUW guests and members will gather at the home of Fred and Chris Young. A catered buffet dinner will be served and local musicians will perform familiar holiday tunes. Each member is asked to make a donation to the EF/LAF funds, plus $22 for the buffet. Reservations are requested by Nov. 29.
