FALLBROOK – Each year, through fundraising efforts, California Retired Teachers, Fallbrook Division 81 awards grants to classroom teachers in the Fallbrook/Bonsall/Rainbow school districts.
The grants help teachers purchase items that enhance the learning programs in kindergarten through high school. The most recent recipients are Jane Hodges and Julie Urquhart.
Hodges is a second grade teacher at Bonsall West Elementary School. The grant will enable her to purchase “Everyone A Reader” books to continue to develop a home component of the classroom reading instruction. Urquhart teaches En...
