Sol Spiller, loving husband and father, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2013 at the age of 89. Sol was born and raised in Wilmington, Del., earning a bachelors of science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Delaware after which he joined the Navy.
Upon his honorable discharge, he earned an MBA from Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Following a successful career in business, he enjoyed tennis, golf, travel and time with his family during his years of retirement.
Sol is survived by his wife Dee; daughter, Carol Wolfe and son-in-law Jim of Mustang, Okla.; step-daughter Lisa Harrison and her husband Keith of Fallbrook; step-son Kirk Winn and his wife Tina of Melbourne, Australia; and his six grandchildren, Connor, Bridgette, Quinn, Declan, Rhianna, and Nixon.
Interment will be at Fort Rosecrans. The family requests in lieu of flowers a contribution be made to your favorite charity.
