Lady harriers experience league cluster meet

In past years, North County Conference league cross-country competition has included dual meets, but this year the conference coaches replaced dual meets with league cluster meets in which all six teams participate. The first Avocado West League cluster meet took place Oct. 4 at Buena Vista Park in Vista, and Fallbrook High School’s girls finished last as a team both in the varsity race and in the junior varsity competition.

“I think they learned from that and they’re ready to improve,” said Fallbrook coach Tim Hauck.
