Fallbrook's Ashley Colburn climbs the Matterhorn

Ashley Colburn has had a travel television show since 2009, and most of the 2005 Fallbrook High School graduate’s activities involve visits to resorts or other luxury tourism attractions. Colburn put significantly more effort into a “Wonders of Switzerland” episode to be aired next year, as she climbed the Matterhorn on Aug. 22.

“It was quite the accomplishment for me,” she said.

For the past two years, Colburn has had her own company, Ashley Colburn Productions. She produces and hosts travel episodes, as she had done with her previous “WOW” and “Takeoff with Ashley Colburn” shows which aired...
