Planning Comm. to allow signs, banners

The County’s Planning Commission recommended approval of a proposed ordinance allowing community signs and banners in public right-of-way.

The Planning Commission’s 6-0 vote Nov. 15, with John Riess absent, sends the recommendation to the San Diego County Board of Supervisors. County staff expects the ordinance to be docketed for the Jan. 8, 2014, Board of Supervisors meeting.
