Dec. 31 event to raise funds for vets

FALLBROOK – VFW Post 1924 is hosting an end of the year fundraiser for local veterans - a New Year’s Eve Dinner and Dance on Dec. 31. Appetizers will be served from 5:30 to 6 p.m.; a prime rib dinner served at 6 p.m. with live music from 6:30 to 10:30 by Chuck Wyle and his Wylie Coyotes Band.

At 9 p.m. there will be a New York New Year’s time champagne toast. Event includes door prizes and too much fun. Location is 1175 Old Stage Road. Seating is limited, so be sure to purchase tickets in advance (suggested donation is $25); call (760) 728-8784....
