Free vacation checks on homes available

FALLBROOK – Going away for the holidays? The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department is willing to keep an eye on home security. More than 400 members of the Sheriff’s Senior Volunteer Patrol (SVP) will be keeping a watchful eye on people’s homes during their out-of-town holiday travels.

Fallbrook area residents can simply fill out a form online (www.sdsheriff.net) and submit it to the Fallbrook Sheriff’s substation.
