County accepts donation for fire department rescue equipment

The County of San Diego accepted a donation from the San Diego Regional Fire Foundation for rescue equipment.

The San Diego County Board of Supervisors voted 5-0 Dec. 3 to accept the $29,820 donation while authorizing Board of Supervisors chairman Greg Cox to sign a letter of appreciation on behalf of the Board of Supervisors and the county. The supervisors also appropriated that money into the Public Safety Group for San Diego County Regional Fire Authority services and supplies.
