Radar enforcement coming to Alvarado Street

The San Diego County Board of Supervisors supported certifying the 35 mph speed limit on Alvarado Street between Vine Street and Stage Coach Lane for radar enforcement.

The supervisors’ 5-0 vote Dec. 4 approved the introduction and first reading of the ordinance. The second reading and adoption is scheduled for Jan. 8, in which case the ordinance allowing for radar certification would take effect on Feb. 7, 2014.

The supervisors also recertified for radar enforcement the section of Alvarado Street from Stage Coach Lane to Live Oak Park Road.
